Nestled in the heart of the northwoods on one of the most demanded lakes
in Wisconsin, our cabin (chalet) is a wonderful retreat away from the chaos
of urban life. Play a game of checkers on our woodsy checkerboard,
have a popcorn party and watch a family movie cuddled next to the fireplace,
or simply sit out on the deck and watch the calming waters or an eagle soaring by.
(There are two eagles that perch on one of our trees!) The possibilities are
endless At the Lake. You’re sure to enjoy each and every moment...
and this is before you even hit the water or trails!

· Built in 1996: 1,764 sq ft with knotty pine interior –medium elevation (steps to the lake are a gentle decline)
· 3 bedroom chalet: queen in master, queen in guest, and twin bunks and bed in children’s room (Sleeps 7 - bedding provided) plus, queen sofa sleeper in living room and a queen sofa sleeper in basement (additional 2-4 people - bedding NOT provided for sofa sleepers)
· 2 Bathrooms: main bath has tub and shower, and basement bath has spacious shower (bring your own towels)
· Kitchen: dishwasher, large refrigerator with icemaker, microwave, range, dinnerware as well as a blender, toaster, coffee maker and waffle iron (bring your own dish towels)
· Bonfire Pit: with a tri-pod grill (we have the marshmallow sticks!)
· Private L-shaped dock with optional pontoon rental
· Swimming off dock with a relaxing log swing on shore for the grown-ups to enjoy while children are swimming
· Large deck with furniture and charcoal grill
· Beautiful gas fireplace (no work involved!)
· Spacious finished basement: full bathroom and a queen sofa sleeper sectional, walk-out to the lake and bonfire pit, large TV with DVD and an antique player piano
· Master bedroom in loft with a skylight and a wonderful view of the lake
· Three televisions- 2 with VCRs / 1 with DVD player: one in living room, one in children’s room (many children’s movies), and one in basement family room
· Central air-conditioning
· Vacuum cleaner provided
· Games: Woodsy Checkers, Dice Game, Scrabble, Playing Cards, and Cribbage Board
· Enjoy Long Lake: 18 miles long and 3,290 acres, very clear water - we’re located on the NE end – the quiet end, to better enjoy fishing (walleye, bass, northern pike, sunfish, and crappies), water activities, or wildlife (loons are always enjoying the lake) ... but cruising distance away from the action: restaurants, bar & grills, people!
· Hundreds of miles of wooded trails: ATV, walking, mountain biking or snowmobiling
· 18-hole golf course: 10 minutes away – beautiful Butternut Hills Golf Course
· Cross Country Nordic Woods Ski Trail: 5 minutes away - 2.5k, 5k or 10k loops
· LCO Casino: 25 minutes away
· Quaint Touristy Towns: Hayward- 30 min., Birchwood- 15 min., Stone Lake- 15 min., Rice Lake- 30 min. (nearest large city 8,000 pop.) Hayward is a premiere tourist town - lots of shopping and eating!
· Artesian Well: just down the street – crystal clear, refreshing drinking water continuously flowing from the earth (the cabin has wonderful drinking water as well)
· Sandbar: just hop on the boat and plan to spend some time playing in the water with a large, shallow sandbar under your feet.
· Winter Rates: $1,050.00/week
· Summer Rates: (Memorial Day – Labor Day) $1,600.00/week *Summer rate applies for entire week even if holiday falls within Winter rate
· Rates include 7 people: over 7 people + $100.00 septic charge (11 people max.) In addition, each person over 7 people + $25.00 each
· Absolutely NO SMOKING and NO PETS allowed - sorry, no exceptions
· Weekly Check-in: Monday 5pm / Check-out: Monday 10am (late check-out no later than 5pm - $100.00)
· 50% Down payment: when booking cabin
· Cancellation Policy: We will return your down payment if we are able to re-book your reserved week or weekend. Please know that we will do our best to re-book for you. You may also select another available week or weekend prior to one month before your initial reservation without penalty.
· $300.00 Security Deposit: Security Deposit will be sent back to you after check-out inspection. This is to protect the beauty of the cabin. We are fair people and have this regulation in place to avoid stolen and/or damaged property. Thank you for your understanding.
· Pontoon Rental: Our beautiful 2001, 25 ft pontoon is available for rent during your stay. It has a table, changing room, and lots of seating. It is equipped with a 90hp four-stroke motor. In addition, it has an awning for shade, a live-well for fishermen, and a CD player/radio for your listening enjoyment. Some basic life jackets are stowed under seats. Rates: $150/day or $600/week plus $300 security deposit
What You May Need:
· Towels (bath and swimming) – must bring
· Extra blankets if desired (if using queen sofa sleepers, you will need bedding)
· Dishcloths and dishtowels - extra toilet paper and hand soap
· Paper plates, cups, paper towels, plastic utensils and napkins (we have dinnerware service for 8)
· Food and beverages (don’t forget the marshmallows!)
· Cooler for boat
· Insect repellent / sunscreen
· Fishing poles and tackle
· Charcoal for grill
· VCR / DVD movies (we have many children movies)
· Baby furniture, if needed -especially a gate for basement stairway
· A great book!!
· A large tote bag to carry stuff down to the lake

Directions: Travel North of Rice Lake on Hwy 53 to Hwy B (north of Sarona, WI), turn East on Hwy B for 5 miles until you reach a four-way stop at the intersection of Cty Rds B & M. Continue on Hwy B straight through intersection for 6 miles, Hwy B will wrap around the north end of Long Lake. Just after Nordic Woods CC Ski Trail be looking for Long Lake Road on your right. Turn right (south) on Long Lake Road for approximately 2 miles. Our Cabin At the Lake will be on your right (N3615).
